This is a scenario that we come across in our daily life, we have to install these tools to make our lives easier as DevOps Engineer.
As the first step update and upgrade. sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Now install MySQL Server. sudo apt install mysql-server
Now verify if the MySQL service is active. systemctl status mysql.service
Now install the MySQL workbench. Using sudo apt install mysql-workbench. If you encounter this error, Then try the bellow commands.
Use wget to download the package from this link. http://repo.mysql.com/apt/ubuntu/pool/mysql-tools/m/mysql-workbench-community/mysql-workbench-community_8.0.19-1ubuntu19.10_amd64.deb
Now You will be able to successfully install MySQL Workbench.
